Google Glass comes up with another way to ignore your kids
Google Glass claims parenting through technology is better, but when you’re multitasking takes away from being in the moment with your kids, I call it a distraction. Instead of stepping away from the Internet to engage with your children, Google Glass comes up with another way to ignore your kids.
I'm a huge fan of technology, but watching videos while claiming you can do more with your kids because you have your hands free is BS. It takes just as much attention to use Glass as it does with a smart phone, and you can't even look at your phone while you're with your kids at the park without the barrage of disapproving looks.
Internet surfing should be done when you’re not walking, hiking or “running through mazes” with your kids. Ignoring your kids because you have your hands free doesn’t make Google Glass good for parenting.
Do you think technology is helpful or hurtful when parenting?
